Outstanding Features of CFLC's Domestic US Adoption Program: |

- As a birth parent you can choose the
adoptive parents from an adoptive parent picture portfolio at Christian Family Life
Center.
- As birth parents you have the
opportunity to meet with the adoptive parents, spending time getting to know one another.
- CFLC licenses the adoptive parents as
the foster home in order for the baby to go home with the adoptive parents soon as
possible after birth and after an order is issued from the Court. This pertains to
adoption occurring in Missouri.
- If mutually agreed upon, the adoptive
parents supply pictures to the birth parents for an agreed upon time throughout the
child's life.
- Some adoptive parents are open to
visits by the birth parents in an agreed upon setting with the child.
What Adoption is:
- Making a carefully thought out plan
and loving plan for your unborn child's life.
What Adoption is not:
- An act of abandonment or neglect.
Reasons why birth parents make an
adoption plan:
- They are unable to financially support
a child.
- They are not emotionally ready to
parent.
- They desire their child to have the
benefit of a two parent family.
